Handwara, Aug 13 (KNO): As the Tiranga rally continue to be witnessed across the valley ahead of the Independence Day, a school located at Rajwara hamlet in Handwara area of north Kashmir mourned the tragic death and honor their fallen classmates, while holding the tri-color in their hands.
As learnt by the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Chesti Memorial School of Ahgam Education Zone amidst the fluttering flags and spirited chants, the students and staff paused to honor the memory of their classmates, who tragically lost their lives in a road accident on July 09.
Students as well as the teachers while carrying tri-color in their hands prayed for the peace to the departed souls, which serves as an example of people's ability to balance grief with patriotism.
"Our hearts are heavy, but we are united in our prayers for our dear students,” those who participated in the remembrance ceremony said.
